Blog Post Make-Up

                                                                   Blog Post Make Up

What has happened recently in Inferno is that the Consortium has sent a trained group of assault men to go and kill Robert Langdon and Sienna Brooks. They try to get into Brooks' house, but fail to capture Langdon. They try to contact the police, and the police start looking for Langdon by making a bunch of road blocks and check-ups. They just barely get past them by pretending to be art teachers getting directed by a couple of students.  The problem is, is that where they want to go is right through the barricade, but the art students help them by showing them how they usually get past the barricade.
In the most recent chapter, the story flips to the point of view of Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, the director of the World Health Organization (WHO). After going to a lecture and giving a speech, a renowned member of the Council of Foreign Relations invites her to talk. He makes a rood comment, does not introduce himself, and if very disrespectful of Dr. Sinskey, though she does not leave. What he implies to her is that the worlds population is too high, and humans have resisted the worlds natural way to prevent overpopulation by any species, disease. He also implied that the only way for the world to not be overpopulated by humans is for it to be 'cleaned' by a disease.

Today I am going to analyze the events of Inferno. What has happened is that what Langdon once thought for sure was cotrovacer turned out to be something else that has yet to be revealed. Dan Brown always had a clever way of making things that you think you knew actually be false. Also recently in the book one of the characters who tried to kill Langdon named Vayentha, was disavowed (to end all ties with) from the Consortium most likely because she had failed to kill Langdon and get the 'object' he was holding. I do not think that is the last we will be seeing of Vayentha, because Dan brown made a whole chapter and a paragraphs about him.
Today I am going to contemplate what might happen further in the book Inferno. What has happened is the Consortium has enlisted the Florence police to help look for Langdon and Sienna,  which they proceeded to make road blocks to search for them. What they did is they pretended to be art teachers and sneaked into an art school. What I think may happen is that they will somehow get caught by the police and will also get away by some clever maneuver.

                                                            Blog Post Week 2 #1

Today I am going to review a character in the book Inferno by Dan Brown. This specific character is a doctor named Sienna Brooks, who is a person with an extremely high IQ, which the main character, Robert Langdon, reads is estimated to be at or above 200. According to eoht, it is extremely rare and unlikely that an individual has an iq of 200 or above. This fictional character is very intellegent, and has joined a group in which only people who have a very high iq can join, and in that same group, they repeatedly take iq tests.

                                                      Blog Post Week 1:Post 1

Inferno opens up with a man (who constantly refers to himself as a shade) running from two other men. He seems to be incredibly scared, and is desperately trying to find a way to get away from them. He finds a tower, and starts climbing it, and eventually jumps off, mentioning some gift he left behind to mankind. This prologue is perfect in making me interested into the story, and helping me to read on. Prologues tend to be very mysterious, and this specific one does a terrific job at being just that.
The second chapter starts with the main character, Robert Langdon, who has somehow been in a hospital for the past 3 days, and has no memory of how he got there. And, minutes later, a visitor comes to kill him, and find some 'object'. The assassin fails to terminate him, and he runs off with a doctor. This part of the story is a great time for the reader to think about the characters, and attempt to make some theory about what is happening in the story.

The book I chose to read is the fourth installment of the Da Vinci Code series, written by Dan Brown. This series is world renowned and has sold at least 200 million copies altogether. I decided to read this book because, after reading the first three books in the series, have become intrested in the content of this book. Another reason that I have chosen to read this book is because a few months ago, my dad read this book and really liked it, saying that it had a great storyline. Another reason that I have decided to read this story, however, is the fact that Dan Brown is a great author who always makes great content that readers always enjoy and will be classics for years to come. I am very excited to get started on this book very soon!
